Achievement Nomination Process
TCLEOSE is now authorized for achievement awards to be presented to the individuals in twenty separate events and/or accomplishments. This change facilitates group as well as individual nominations. The nominations must be submitted by an elected official of the State, an elected official of a political subdivision, an administrator of a law enforcement agency, or a person holding a current license issued by TCLEOSE

Past Honorees
The Achievement Awards Program began in 1990 and has honored through the year 2012:
- 82 officers for Professional Achievement
- 108 for Public Service
- 255 for Valor (7 posthumously)
