These providers offer the basic licensing courses. They also have the ability to offer additional courses that meet the needs of the area served, however some of these departmental academies serve only their agency

These providers offer training for peace officers, jailers, and telecommunicators to maintain their licenses or acquire certificates. They also have the ability to offer additional courses that meet the needs of the area served.

Academic Alternative Programs
These providers are located on college or university campuses and offer an alternative to the basic peace officer licensing course (at least an Associate’s Degree is required to be eligible for licensure).
